Events Description
In the spring of 1986, Armand Desharnais ventured out to tap a few Manitoba maple trees on the museum grounds. Much to his delight, clear maple water dripped out, producing fine syrup.
In 1998, a local artist, Réal Bérard, designed a “Cabane à Sucre” and it was erected on the Musée St.Pierre Jolys grounds. This unique building makes for an excellent gathering place for all occasions.
And in this instance for 4 days of Maple Syrup Dinners and entertainment; April 17, 18, 24, 25 and 2 days for brunch, April 19, 26 and 1 late night dance party.
