Pride Winnipeg is traditionally celebrated at the end of May, when our GSRD (Gender, Sexual, and Relationship Diverse) community and our allies get together for a series of Pride events.

Engage in a range of celebratory activities, including a symbolic flag-raising ceremony at City Hall, thrilling sports tournaments, delightful barbecues, captivating art exhibitions, live performances by talented artists, a vibrant showcase of artisans, a dedicated Queer Beer Tent for adults, an exhilarating city-wide dance party, and numerous other exciting events. The festivities reach their pinnacle with a spectacular Pride Day parade and rally held at the historic Manitoba Legislative Building

2026 Theme “Celebrate YOU”.

The Pride Rally is an annual tradition in honour of the 250 people who first gathered at the Manitoba Legislative Building in 1987. It occurs at 10am on Parade Sunday at the Manitoba Legislative Building and includes speeches from a representative of each level of government and many special invited guests from our community.

The Pride Parade begins after the Pride Rally and makes its way through downtown Winnipeg. The parade features a Grand Marshal, honorary Youth Marshal, and honorary Community Group Marshal, all of which are nominated by the community.

10:00am – Rally starts (Manitoba Legislative Building, North Steps)
10:45am – Rally ends
11:00am – Parade begins at Memorial and St Mary Ave
Parade ends near Blue Cross Park (Goldeyes)
12:00pm – Day 2 of the Pride Festival at the Forks begins!
