Tell your pals, bring your kids, bring your grannies! Dig out the snow pants and make sure your winter tires are on ‘cause it’s time to bring the party back to Falcon Lake!
Join us for a day full of wintery Forest fun followed by a cozy and festive evening in the ski chalet featuring musical entertainment by Dominique Adams, Fontine and The Funky Miracles Presented in partnership with our friends at the Backcountry community centre

This year the whole festival will be happening on Saturday January 17, with the daytime full of all the wonderful wintery activities that Falcon Ridge provides (skiing, snowboarding, x-country skiing, skating), this year we are delighted to include one free lift ticket (valid for Jan 17 OR 18) with each Snow dance ticket. Your favourite Snow dance specials like the Turkey Shoot, Horse Skijoring with the Falcon Beach Ranch, a Snow Bar, kids activities in the yurt and more will also be happening around the ski slopes. The Après ski party and music will commence at 7:30 pm in the ski chalet!

Sat Jan 17:
9:30 am- 4:30 pm: Owl Wing Coffee House open! Located at the resort main office (just up the hill from the ski chalet), featuring specialty coffee (Little Sister beans) and an assortment of baked goods! The perfect place to boot up if you are heading out on the trails!
10:30 am – 4:30 pm: Ski Hill open! Grab a lift pass and hit the slopes! Each 2025 Snow dance ticket includes a lift ticket for either Saturdy or Sunday! Alpine Skiing! Snowboarding! Tubing! And enjoy food at Janelle’s Trail’s End Restaurant.
All Day: Skating rink! Bring your skates! Get your friends together for some shinny! We will have our skating rink up and running near the ski chalet. We will have the link lit up for when it gets dark too!
1 pm – 3 pm: Skijoring! Our friends at the Falcon Beach Ranch will have the horses at the hill and you too can try being pulled behind a galloping horse on skis!
2 pm – 3 pm Turkey Shoot! Join Ryan the Groomer on the ice for our annual Turkey shoot. What the heck is that you ask? Well, Ryan draws a target on the ice and we all try and “curl” (slide) a frozen turkey down the ice to be as close as possible to the target. Closest throw brings the bird home!
3 pm – Kids activities in the yurt
2 pm – 4 pm: Snow Dance Photo Booth
3 pm – 5 pm: Outdoor Snow Bar
5 pm – 7 pm: Dinner break in the Yurt! The chalet will be closed as we set up the stage for the evening party.
5 pm – 7 pm: Night Tubing! We will be firing up our lit up tubing lift during this time for all Snow dance pass holders! It’s exhilarating! Lift pass for the tube run is included with your Snow dance Pass.
7:30 pm: MUSIC in the Chalet, stage hosted by The Backcountry Community Centre
7 pm – 12 am: Chalet Bar open! Local Beer, Organic wines, Ciders and a few other treats
8 – 10 pm: Poutine Bar open in chalet! Let some specialty poutine fuel you through the night! Ft. topping options like pulled pork and miso mushroom. Vegan/ GF options!

9:30 – 11:30 pm: The Funky Miracles
SUNDAY Jan 18
