Edmonton’s signature summer festival, K-Days, has unveiled a delectable array of wacky culinary creations for their 2025 festival, showcasing inventive and traditional flavours.

KDays 2025 serves up a bold mix of creative dishes, reimagining classic favourites with exciting twists. Food lovers can indulge in unique offerings like Cowboy Candy Mango Soft Serve, Wagyu Exquisite Poutine, Dill Pickle Mini Donuts, and the spicy Kimchi Dog. It’s a flavour-packed celebration sure to tempt every taste bud and satisfy adventurous appetites.

Savoury Dishes
- Pickled Cheese Curds: Fried cheese curds coated in a crispy, tangy pickle batter.
- Spicy Pickle Fries: Brined hand-cut fries seasoned with bold spices. Tangy and spicy, each fry offers a flavorful crunch.
- Freaky Tzatziki Twisted Pickle: A battered pickle fused with creamy tzatziki, combining fresh, tangy flavours and a crunchy texture.

- Wagyu Exquisité Poutine: Fries, cheese curds, Wagyu beef, mushrooms, onions, quail egg, truffle, and peppercorn gravy.
- Philly Frys: Waffle fries topped with shredded Philly beef, sautéed onions and peppers, and melted cheese, a Philly cheesesteak in fry form.
- Cheesy Hot Cheetos Footlong Freakk Fries: Footlong fries coated in hot Cheetos seasoning and cheese, blending intense heat and crunch.
- Whey Not PB & J Tornado Potato: Spiral potato slathered in peanut butter and jelly for a protein-rich, crispy and sweet-savoury fairground snack.

- Korean Kimchi Dog: Footlong hotdog with spicy kimchi, slaw, gochujang BBQ sauce, and sesame seeds, offering bold Korean-inspired flavours.
- Elote Street Corn Footlong: Hotdog topped with grilled corn, mayo, cheese, onions, cilantro, and lime, inspired by Mexican street corn.
- Purple Ube Sesame Street Corn: Roasted corn with purple ube mayo, sesame seeds, Tajin spice, and chives—a sweet, spicy, and nutty fusion.

- New Ube Ice Scramble: Shaved ice dessert with ube extract, powdered milk, sugar, marshmallows, and sprinkles, drizzled in ube condensed milk and topped with wafer sticks.
- Lava Flow Lemonade: Fresh lemonade swirled with creamy coconut, mango, and pineapple, topped with a cherry.
- Crocodile Ade Bog Bucket: Giant drink with mojito lemonade, apple boba, gummy frogs and worms, plus a plastic crocodile.
- Shark Attack Smoothie: Pina colada smoothie blended with coconut and pineapple, finished with a striking swirl of raspberry syrup.
K-Days is a 130-year-old plus tradition in Edmonton, running from July 18 to 27 this year.
This year’s festival features a star-studded lineup, including Bad Religion, Tom Morello, USS, July Talk, Jazzy B, Marianas Trench, Jade Eagleson, Walk Off the Earth, G-Eazy, and 98 Degrees.
