New Under-$4 Crispy Chicken Sandwich Joins Wendy’s Canada Value Menu

Wendy’s Canada is adding a new option to its value lineup: a Crispy Chicken Sandwich priced at under $4 and available any time of day.

The sandwich is made with 100 per cent Canadian chicken. It features a tender interior and a crispy, savoury coating. The item joins the company’s Quality Choices menu, a selection of products all listed below the $4 mark.

John Mulvihill, Vice President and Managing Director of Wendy’s Canada, said affordability does not mean lowering standards. He described the new sandwich as a response to customer demand for flavour and premium ingredients at a consistent price point. He also pointed to the brand’s more than 50-year presence in Canada’s quick-service restaurant sector as part of that approach.

The value concept itself is not new for the chain. Wendy’s first introduced a value menu in 1989, describing it at the time as an industry first. In Canada, the Quality Choices menu carries that model forward.

Alongside the Crispy Chicken Sandwich, customers can find items such as six-piece Crispy Chicken Nuggets, the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger and the Cheesy Cheddarburger. Other options under $4 include the Frosty dessert, poutine, chili and wraps.

All items on the Quality Choices menu are available daily, with pricing positioned below $4.
