Martini Town, a renowned film and television production back lot in Langley, is once again offering a unique holiday experience this Christmas season.

This Hollywood-style film backlot will again open its doors to the public as “Merry & Bright” this holiday season.
What is Martini Town:
Martini Town, nestled on a sprawling 16-acre outdoor site, is renowned for its unique building facades and filming streetscape, making it a hotspot for numerous TV shows and movies.
With its charming small-town atmosphere, New York-themed Brownstone Street, a movie theatre with a lit marquee, cozy coffee shops, urban alleys, courthouses, diners, and town squares, Martini Town serves as a versatile canvas for filmmakers’ imaginations.

What to See and Do During Merry & Bright
Visitors can explore a Hollywood-style backlot adorned with fresh holiday decorations, expanded sets, and new seasonal attractions. The event offers a variety of activities:
- Guests can explore authentic movie sets transformed into a nostalgic Christmas townscape, complete with decorated facades, twinkling lights, and vintage-style storefronts designed by B.C.’s skilled film crews, led by Martini Film Studios CEO Gemma Martini.
- Santa Claus will greet families nightly until December 23, stationed at the gazebo for photos, ensuring a classic Christmas experience before his big departure north.
- A large, clear-roofed tent over the Town Square allows guests to enjoy live performances, holiday entertainment, and festive comfort even in rainy conditions, creating a cozy yet open-air environment.
- Daily entertainment includes performances by The Dimes, a Vancouver-based trio performing hourly sets from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., as well as Victorian Carollers serenading visitors with 20-minute intervals starting at 5:30 p.m. and continuing through 8:30 p.m.
- Adding to the immersive atmosphere, roaming characters like The Green Christmas Grouch and The Ice Princess will debut this year, bringing playful theatrical energy to the streets of Martini Town.
- Visitors can admire meticulously crafted window displays inspired by traditional department store scenes, each with hidden details and visual surprises updated annually for returning guests.
- Market Lane, housed in a heated tent, showcases a rotating lineup of local artisans and small businesses, featuring handcrafted gifts, holiday décor, and locally made treats, emphasizing community-driven shopping.
- Food lovers can enjoy returning favourites such as Texas Smoke BBQ, Mini Donuts, Urban Wood Fired Pizza, and Tacosaurus, along with sweet offerings from Bar Down Bakery of Fort Langley and Sticky’s Candy from Langley, serving fudge, cookies, and imported confections.
Places to See Christmas Lights and Holiday Displays in and Around Metro Vancouver
In addition to the holiday festivities, visitors can enhance their experience by spotting sets used in new Martini Town-filmed movies. The location is a popular choice for holiday films produced by the Hallmark Channel and broadcast on the W Network in Canada.
A portion of the proceeds from this seasonal event will benefit the Langley Food Bank.

Movie fans can get a taste of Tinseltown for the holidays at Martini Town, a picture-perfect film set in Langley owned by Martini Film Studios. Visitors to Merry & Bright will have a rare opportunity to access a Hollywood-style film backlot, transformed into a holiday wonderland.
