Did you know that there is a massive sunflower farm in Central Alberta that welcomes visitors to its 60-acre flower field?
Sunflower Valley Farms, located near Lacombe, is a working farm which grows sunflowers for its seeds.
During the bloom season, Sunflower Valley Farms welcomes the public to enjoy the charms of its glorious sunflower fields.
Enjoy a relaxing stroll or take a few family photos of the towering flowers blooming in bright yellows and soft golds.
Three different trails of varying lengths are cut through the sunflower field. These trails are rated beginner, intermediate and advanced and take 10 to 30 minutes.
The field is also available for booking photography sessions.
They are open from Tuesday to Friday from 3:00 pm until sunset and Saturday & Sunday from 1:00 pm until sunset.
You can also buy farm-fresh produce, sunflower honey, and sunflowers bouquets to take home.
Kraay Family Farm in Lacombe also has sunflower fields, a corn maze and family attractions.

On August 19th, All proceeds from the day’s admission will be donated to Ellis Bird Farm Ltd. The Sunshop will also be open, featuring various local vendors at the sunflower farm. Ellis Bird Farm will host engaging activities for kids, centered around sunflower and bird themes. Enjoy crafts, nature exploration, a café, and much more during this exciting event!

Admission is $10 per Adult. All three sun trails are included with admission.
16 and under is free.
Professional photographers are FREE

The farm is located 12 minutes east of Lacombe on Prentiss Road. Take Highway 12, turn right on Prentiss Road, and take your second right. Our field is on the corner of Hwy12 and Prentiss Road.
