Gotta Luv Butter Tarts is bringing their touring butter tart festival to Bowmanville this weekend.

Gotta Luv Butter Tart Festivals
Taking place at Garnet B Rickard Recreation Complex in Bowmanville, the Butter Tart Festival will feature award-winning butter tarts by many of Ontario’s finest butter tart vendors like Carla’s Cookie Box and Omni’s Sweet Treats.
There will be over 40 vendors in attendance showcasing their finest butter tarts, cupcakes and other tasty treats. You will also be able to purchase everything you could imagine for your home from local crafters, you, and even your pets.
In addition, you can also enjoy free performances by Lexy the Rap Dad at 11 am and 2 pm. There will be a competition for the best butter tarts hosted by a judging panel.
Carla, owner of Carla’s Cookie Box, said in a statement, “Our gourmet butter tarts are award-winning for good reason. Not only do we make all of our pastry with butter, we also include Ontario maple syrup freshly made from a maple syrup farmer in Holstein Ontario. Check out many of our traditional and unique flavours from pecan or raisin to peanut butter and chocolate chip or raspberry coconut.”
Gotta Luv Butter Tarts will be collecting food donations to help support the thousands of families in need in the local community.
Whether you like runny fillings or firm, thick pastry shells or phyllo shells, you are sure to find a delicious butter tart to suit your taste at this festival.
