Asialicious Carnival is returning this weekend with fireworks, tasty food and plenty of entertainment.
The 2024 edition of the festival organised by the Federation of Asian Canadians Toronto will be held at Woodside Square in Scarborough.
The carnival kicks off on Friday, September 6th, at 5:00 p.m. and runs through Sunday, September 8th.
In addition to tasty delights from Toronto area restaurants, the festival promises a rich tapestry of performances spread over three days, beginning with a dance and singing performance by a multi-cultural group on Friday evening and closing with a variety of Filipino dance and singing acts on Sunday afternoon.
Saturday, the main day of the event, is packed with an array of performances starting at 11:00 a.m., featuring martial arts displays, various dance shows including K-pop and traditional Korean dances, and musical performances. The highlight of the day will be the Opening Ceremony at 7:00 p.m., followed by a special segment called “A1 Radio Starry Night – Heartbeat of Korea,” and a dazzling fireworks show to cap off the evening.
