St. Albert Rainmaker Rodeo & Festival
After a few years off, the St. Alberta Rainmaker is back! The three-day-long event begins on May 27th. There is also a parade and celebration for St. Albert’s 161st birthday. Over the weekend, the grounds will be filled with live music, rodeo events, local food vendors, and more activities. If you’re in need of a hotel, there are many along the St. Albert Trail.

The Rise Up Hot Air Balloon Festival is a family-friendly event that will bring the community together at no cost to witness balloons soaring over our beautiful landscape in Medicine Hat and the surrounding area.

Mt. Kidd RV Park
The ideal location of Mt. Kidd RV Park is partly why you’ll want to book your spot here as soon as possible. The park is nestled between rocky peaks near the Kananaskis Village and Spray Lakes area. They can accommodate tents and RVs, as well as families or groups of families with their playground, tennis courts, and common areas. There are hiking trails which run behind the RV Park, as well as 10 more trailheads at Spray Valley PP parking, about 5 minutes down Kananaskis Trail.

Spray Lakes West Campground
This is the only Spray Lakes PP campground open this coming weekend, so take advantage of their first-come-first-served tent and RV sites! This is an ideal location for fishers, boaters, and hikers, with multiple nearby locations for all three activities.

Iron Horse Trail Cabins
The camping area gets its name from being just minutes away from Alberta’s IHT. The campground allows for peace, quiet, and solitude in the woods, and is near both Garner Lake, Moose Lake Provincial Parks. The cabins are smaller and allow for a warm place to sleep. You have access to a common kitchen, several games and books, and a common firepit. Your hosts can also recommend and assist with different adventures like archery, hikes, or foraging.
