Canadian Forces Snowbirds, CF-18 Demo Team in Stratford Today For Airshow

Canada’s elite air demonstration team will be in Stratford today as part of a fundraiser for Stratford Warriors, the local hockey team.

This will be the last Canadian airshow of the season by Canadian Forces Snowbirds.

In addition to Canadian Forces Snowbirds on CT-114 Tutor aircraft, CF-18 Demo Team will also be joining the show.

You will also get to see a variety of aircraft like Beach 3nm, Boeing B75N1, NA Harvards, Giles 202, Yak 50, L29, MIG15, T33, Vampires, Pitts Model 12 doing a variety of solo flybys, solo aerobatics and formation flybys.



How Much: Admission by Donation – $20 per vehicle recommended.

When: Wednesday, September 15, 2021 | Show begins 4:35pm and runs until 6:45pm

Parking begins at 3pm on a first come first serve basic

The Snowbirds will depart from the Stratford Airport at 4:35 p.m.

Where: Stratford Municipal Airport., Enter from the South on Perth Road 111.

  • You will be directed to a designated 20ft x 25ft parking spot.
  • You are allowed to sit or stand outside your vehicle.
  • Campers and motor homes are not allowed.

Road Closures

Perth County OPP will be closing some of the roads from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The closures include:

Perth Road 119 will be closed today from Line 39 to Line 42. Traffic will be detoured to Line 39 to Road 122 to Line 42.

Line 40 from Perth Road 119 to Road 110 will also be closed except to those who are using field parking, which can only be accessed from Road 110.
