Pi Day, the popular celebration of the mathematical constant, takes place worldwide on March 14. This year, Mathnasium Learning Centres, an internationally known franchise with 100 locations in Canada, has partnered with Pizza Pizza, Canada’s leading pizza brand, to bring a unique blend of math and fun to Pi Day with a variety of exciting events and delicious pizza “pies”.
Participating Mathnasium centres across Toronto are opening their doors for free Pi Day celebrations, inviting the community to join in on the fun. Guests can look forward to festive food, exciting prizes, and interactive learning stations. Kids of all ages will discover the joy of math through Pi visualization exercises, memory games, and Pi-themed word searches.
Mathnasium and Pizza Pizza are hosting a national sweepstakes, running from February 27 through Friday, March 14 at 11:59 p.m. (ET). Entrants will have the chance to win a $3,140 educational scholarship along with a $314 Pizza Pizza gift card. One lucky winner will be announced the following week.
