Events Description
The FABRIC & YARN SALE began in 2008 as a simple idea and has grown into a highly anticipated event, driven by the creativity and dedication of UJAMAA GRANDMAS members.
Each spring, we put out a call for stash raids, gathering fabric, yarn, notions, books, patterns, and machines. Donations pour in from individuals and businesses, and our dedicated volunteers work tirelessly to sort, organize, and display the items. When the doors open, the transformation is truly inspiring.
While our primary mission is to support the Stephen Lewis Foundation, the sales impact extends even further. Each year, unsold items are distributed to local charities, including schools, guilds, church groups, and theatre costume departments, ensuring resources are put to good use both locally and internationally.

Tickets : $5
Friday: $5 tickets required (purchase via Eventbrite)
Saturday & Sunday: Additional $2 at checkout
Payment: Credit and debit only (no cash)
