The night begins with aarti, not a countdown. The music comes from a live mandli seated within the circle, with dholak, dhol, and voices carrying through the space, and you dance because the rhythm moves you, not because a stage tells you to.
Bhajan-Mandli Garba Mahotsav, presented by Kalika Kreations, a new venture rooted in सांस्कृतिक विरासत (cultural heritage), is created to bring that feeling back to Calgary.
This evening is built around devotion.
From the moment you enter, the decor, lighting, and atmosphere are designed to recreate the warmth of traditional Navratri nights many of us grew up with and have been missing.
This is an exclusive, limited capacity experience. Unlike large scale Navratri events, attendance is intentionally kept smaller so the circle remains intimate and the evening feels like home, not a crowd.

The Musicians
At most Navratri events, the singer becomes the focus while the musicians remain in the background. Here, they are the night. Live bhajan-mandli prachin music you probably grew up hearing in the small villages/societies during Navratri
