Every year people come from far and wide to experience Christmas in High River. This year, the 33rd Annual Santa Claus Parade takes place on Friday, December 6 at 6:30 p.m. with almost 100 floats expected. Streets will be closed so pedestrians can enjoy the parade, unique local shopping and holiday markets throughout the evening.
The charming and lively streets of High River transform into an enchanting Christmas vision with intoxicating smells wafting from the cafes, trimmed trees and Christmas balls hanging in shop windows and numerous specialty stores offering one-of-kind gifts.
As the park comes aglow with thousands of lights, the Christmas spirit within each of us lights up as well. Live entertainment and caroling on stage and a Christmas market will make it an unforgettable evening. Join us at 5:00 PM for the official light-up and stay for the live entertainment.
