The COCHRANE FAIR includes Classic Bull Riding, Mini Chuckwagons, Trick Riders, Super Dogs, Live Entertainment, Beer Gardens, Farmers’ Market, Farm Days and much more.
In celebration of our rural heritage, the Cochrane Fair, has become a gathering place for both rural and urban residents. Several thousand people have enjoyed the various events and attractions such as the mini horse chuckwagon races, local First Nation’s Dancers and Mutton Bustin’. The fantastic and ever popular “President’s Choice® SuperDogs are back again. Also, this year we’re pleased to have the Junior Firefighter’s Safety Course, the Reptile Show, plus the Three Hat Circus performers. This 1-day Cochrane Fair will be jam packed with loads of entertainment and activities for the entire family. And if you need a quick break from all the activities and you slip into the Beer Gardens for a cool, refreshing pick-me-up.
This year we’re especially excited to be part of the 20th Anniversary of the Cochrane Classic Bull Riding. So for the 20th year, with the Rocky Mountains as the backdrop, Canada’s top bull riders will challenge some of Canada’s toughest bulls. The evening will finish up with a Barn Dance featuring Chris Leblanc and his band in true western tradition.
