Festival of Animated Objects in Splish Splash

Live music, dance and puppetry, Splish Splash is a delightful celebration of imagination for the whole family.

When there is a power loss during a rainstorm that traps Kid inside, Boredom looms. A chance discovery of a scrap of treasure in the depths of the couch launches Kid on an incredible adventure through the vastness of make-believe worlds. Combining original live music, dance and puppetry, Splish Splash is a delightful celebration of imagination for the whole family.

This show is 50 minutes in length and is recommended for families with kids 12 and under.

About the Festival of Animated Objects:
Calgary’s Festival of Animated Objects Society is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting mask & puppet related performance.

Animated objects (sometimes known as puppets and masks) are the great equalizer. They arouse our curiosity and suspend our judgement. They open our minds and allow us to see things from different perspectives.

Breathing life into the inanimate and giving expression to the inert, the Festival of Animated Objects brings world-class artists to engage and entertain audiences of all ages, arousing our collective imaginations and opening us up to new worlds and new ideas through the innovative and sophisticated art of storytelling through mask, puppetry and animated objects.
