Calgary
Events Description
Dust off your boots and join us for a legendary salute to the beloved country song as Heartstrings & Honky Tonks returns to Calgary.
Presented by National Music Centre and Craig Senyk Initiatives, this show will bring the magic of music city home to Alberta with intimate songwriters’ rounds featuring Michelle Wright, Doc Walker, Deric Ruttan, Clayton Bellamy, Dan Davidson, and special guest Sykamore.
This special evening will be hosted by CFCW Program Director and Canadian Country Music Hall of Fame member Jackie Rae Greening and broadcast LIVE all across Canada on 840 AM CFCW.
This historic evening of live music will be set in a traditional Nashville style songwriters round, often also called a guitar pull. These sessions will feature incredible songwriters as they share their stories and take the audience on an emotional journey singing both songs they have written, performed the way they were originally intended, along with songs that hold a special place in their own heart. Once again award winning and platinum selling co-writers, and longtime friends Dan Davidson and Clayton Bellamy will lead most of these events as they bring their Nashville experiences north of the border.
