In My Own Time: A documentary about medical assistance in dying (MAID).
THIRD ACTion Film Festival and Dying with Dignity Canada – the Calgary Chapter – present In My Own Time, a film that explores this highly personal decision through the first-hand stories of patients, clinicians, and experts.
Using first-hand accounts from people across Canada, In My Own Time offers perspectives on MAID that are not often shown in media reports.
The film follows the emotional stories of people across Canada who chose to end their suffering through MAID and how navigating this decision can lead to life-affirming realizations with family and friends.
Join us for the Calgary premiere of In My Own Time on January 28, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. at the Globe Cinema.
