Events Description
Welcome to Kilts for a Cause, where tradition meets compassion and nothing but fun! Our charitable organization is dedicated to supporting local initiatives and organizations that make a profound difference in our community. Through the distinctive flair of the kilt and the spirit of camaraderie, we aim to raise funds for those in need, ensuring that vital resources are available to individuals and families facing challenges.
We invite you to join us on January 23rd at St. James Corner as we celebrate Robert Burns, Scotland’s celebrated national bard. This special event will not only honour Burns’ legacy but also raise funds for the Calgary Food Bank (www.calgaryfoodbank.com). By participating, you’ll embrace our rich cultural heritage while making a meaningful impact in our community.
Together, we can weave a fabric of support and care that strengthens those around us. Let’s unite in celebration and compassion—one kilt at a time!
Evening festivities will follow a short Robbie Burns Night Program, with Live Music by Jamie Allanach, World Class Pipers, door prizes and amazing fun!
