Experience the mesmerizing fusion of Afro-Mandingo music and Flamenco with Kora Flamenca. Following the resounding success of their first album (Félix Award for Album of the Year — Best World Music at ADISQ and the Canadian Folk Music Awards for Global Roots Album of the Year), Zal Sissokho and Caroline Planté come together once again to create a vibrant and unique musical experience.
The duo presents 10 new tracks, shared equally between the two composers, blending the soulful melodies of Zal’s kora and voice with the fiery strings of Caroline’s flamenco guitar and voice. Accompanied by Miguel Medina on percussion and Jean-Félix Mailloux on double bass, this project promises a colorful and immersive journey into the heart of their collaboration.
