Join the Lions Festival of Lights as they turn on the lights for 2025! There will be hot chocolate, cookies, ice sculptures and fireworks!
The mayor has been invited to brighten the lights.
The event is free to attend. We encourage guests to bring a non-perishable item to donate to the Calgary Food Bank.
Dogs are allowed on leashes (also be aware that the opening is has a number of small children and fireworks).

Donations to the Food Bank are gratefully accepted only at the Grand Opening.

Festivities begin at 5pm with the lights turning on between 5:45 and 6pm.

Entrance to the Confederation Park Golf Course is best off of 24th Avenue, just west of 14th Street. Parking is available on nearby streets and North Hill Shopping Centre.
