Events Description
Join Natural Twenty for Mahika, an EP Release Show at The Engineered Air Theatre, with special guests Gingerbeef, and more!
Mahika is Natural Twenty’s second EP and represents their vibrant evolution, solidifying the Funk, Soul, and Jazz sound they’ve lovingly nurtured within the vibrant Calgary music scene. It’s a melodic journey whose first steps was re-imagining an old song, into an enchanting exploration of musical possibilities. Mahika is where Natural Twenty weaves a collective sentiment that dances between the lines of uncomfortable realities wrapped in addicting beats and grooves. This musical tapestry captures the essence of their artistic growth, painting a vivid sonic landscape that invites listeners to experience the bold and soulful spirit of Natural Twenty.
Ginger Beef is the collaboration of the husband and wife team of award-winning flutist Jiajia Li and veteran producer/multi-instrumentalist Warren Tse (AKA MSG). The result: a gleaming pop artifact which balances dazzling instrumental performances and catchy melodies with deep grooves.
Join these musical acts along with magic, photo booths, and more!
