Events Description
Experience the magic of music and friendship in Because of You: My Tribute to Tony Bennett featuring Michael Feinstein alongside the illustrious Carnegie Hall Jazz Ensemble. Celebrating the enduring legacy of his close confidant Tony Bennett, Feinstein, a renowned vocalist and interpreter of the Great American Songbook, brings a heartfelt performance of a classy, swinging bygone era.
An unforgettable evening filled with timeless melodies like “Rags to Riches,” “The Way You Look Tonight,” “I Left My Heart in San Francisco,” and “The Best is Yet to Come,” audiences are invited on a journey through musical history, a testament to two legendary artists and a sensational band.
Born out of his close friendship with the musical master Tony Bennett, Michael Feinstein’s collection of songs and stories brings a profound sense of authenticity and depth to each note performed. One of America’s most prominent vocalists, pianists, nightclub hosts, cabaret artists, and musical historians, Feinstein’s name is synonymous alongside Sinatra, Gershwin, Berlin, and Porter. The subject of PBS’s Michael Feinstein’s American Songbook, there is no greater figure to deliver the work of Tony Bennett to the Jack Singer Concert Hall at Arts Commons.
For the classic standard lover or the newly minted Tony Bennett fan, Because of You: My Tribute to Tony Bennett is a can’t-miss performance.
