Calgary
Events Description
Taking their name from the word for heart in the Afro-Cuban religion of Santeria, OKAN, is a Juno-Award winning women-led ensemble that fuses Afro-Cuban roots with jazz, folk and global rhythms in songs about immigration, courage and love. You won’t be able to resist dancing along to their warm Cuban-Canadian vibes. Don’t miss them for their last stop on the West Coast.
Join the BJP Music Foundation at cSPACE for this unique performance, and support our work in bringing exceptional jazz-inspired talent to Calgary!
