Events Description
Calgarians can enjoy free, family-friendly programming that brings the heart of the city alive with local flavours, live entertainment and inclusive vibes.
The City of Calgary, in partnership with Aire Commune Productions, have created an end-of-summer space that will become the ultimate weekend destination. Neighbours, residents and visitors can come together to enjoy this pop-up paradise from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, and 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays.
What to expect this year:
- Local favourites: Sip craft beer from Annex Ale and Eighty-Eight Brewing Co., savour fried chicken from Cluck N Cleaver and cool off with ice cream from Made by Marcus featuring Monogram Coffee.
- Fresh flavours: Shirley’s Greenhouses will host a Sunday farm stand with fresh, local produce (11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on select dates).
- Enhanced amenities: In addition to plentiful seating and shaded spaces, the washroom attendant program will be onsite to help ensure a safe, clean and family-friendly experience.
Calgarians, visitors, families, friends and furry companions are all invited to kick-off the event series on Friday, Aug. 29 with DJ Hannah, offering a night of world disco.
