Events Description
Storytelling has been a way to pass down wisdom and knowledge by the Blackfoot people since time immemorial. Through the oral tradition, Blackfoot Elder Sheldon First Rider will share stories from Blackfoot culture in this intimate one-hour program. Every month, Sheldon will speak on a different topic, covering everything from mythology and food to history and spirituality.
This October, learn about the importance of the tipi and the cultural narratives and spiritual symbolism to the Blackfoot people.
