Calgary
Events Description
The Suncor Street Festival, is the main hub for Grey Cup Festival festivities. Taking place in the parking lot between the Big Four Roadhouse and the BMO Centre at Stampede Park, it will be home to numerous interactive activations, free family fun, a nightly drone show, a licensed beer garden area with a fully programmed stage home to a variety of different artists, and much more!
The Suncor Street Festival is wheelchair accessible and designed to support mobility device access throughout activations and programming.
The site will feature interactive activations, public art installations, and evening entertainment, including a drone light show.
The Calgary Grey Cup Committee and Calgary Stampede Caravan Committee, and MNP volunteers are teaming up to bring a Calgary tradition to the Festival with free pancake breakfasts Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Grab your crew, come hungry and fuel up for a full day of Festival fun!
The Outdoor Community Stage presented by Coca-Cola, is located within the Suncor Street Festival. From 11am to 9pm each day, you can enjoy a variety of different artists including country, rock, nightly DJ’s, and more! Each day will consist of different programming, so keep an eye on this page for all artist announcements! Local Artist Programming made possible by support from Calgary Arts Development.
Taking place Thursday to Saturday, each night will be capped off with a drone show at 8:45 p.m., illuminating the night sky with a unique array of images telling the story of the Grey Cup Festival. The Suncor Street Festival is your best location to watch these shows, and each night will have a unique storyline – so make sure you attend all three evenings to see them all!
