Calgary
Events Description
Get cozy with your Calgary Phil in this concert of grace and warmth led by Canadian conductor Naomi Woo. She brings English composer Ruth Gipps’s vivid Second Symphony, which is complemented by Vaughan Williams’s haunting pastoral romance The Lark Ascending, performed by violinist Anna Stube, this season’s MacLachlan/Ridge Emerging Artist. Schubert’s Fifth Symphony opens the evening with infectious good cheer.
