Events Description
Join us in the musical retelling of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales about wishes, family, and the choices we make.
Follow a Baker and his wife, who wish to have a child; Cinderella, who wishes to attend the King’s Festival; and Jack, who wishes his cow would give milk, on a journey to break a curse, find a better life, and provide for a family. With a cast full of iconic storybook characters, they will learn that what you wish may not be worth what you get, and that even the best of actions have their consequences.
James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim take everyone’s favourite storybook characters and bring them together for a timeless, yet relevant, piece of theatre. The Tony Award-winning book and score are both enchanting and touching.
