FOCUSED: Destination Africa gives lens lovers (ages 16+) exclusive access to the zoo. Capture breathtaking photos of iconic wildlife, from giraffes and lions to gorillas and everything in between, with before-hours access to the indoor and outdoor habitats of Destination Africa. Photographers of all skill levels are welcome.
The zoo’s Animal Care, Health & Welfare team is thrilled to share their passion for the animals they love and care for with our FOCUSED ticket holders. Throughout the event, they will be creating special enrichment and feeding opportunities for you to photograph.

Tickets : Ticket Price: $50 + GST
Tickets include entry to the zoo at 7:45 a.m. on March 7th, so enjoy a full day of adventure after putting Destination Africa under the lens!

7:45 a.m. – Ticket holders can access the Wilder Institute/Calgary Zoo.
8:00 a.m. – Exclusive access to Destination Africa begins.
