Events Description

A celebrity, an orphan, a crone, and a cowboy collide to bring you a cautionary folk tale that will leave you snapping your fingers and tapping your toes. Old junk transforms into masks, puppets, and instruments in a tale that shows us how love and sacrifice could save our planet. Join Mudfoot Theatre as they bring you this Calgary born tale that toured around the city in the summer of 2023, and now is back for more fun and a reimagined version of the show.

This free, one-hour, outdoor performance is fun for ages 6 and up!

The Mudfoot Theatre Collective is a Theatre Ensemble in Treaty 7 Territory, committed to devising theatrical encounters through humble magic and sustainable theatre practices. We are an independent company under the artistic leadership of Geneviève Paré, Evan Medd, and Kathryn Smith. With our feet in the mud and our head in the clouds we work collaboratively through the interdisciplinary arts to reinvigorate the Canadian ethos concerning how we relate to each other and the more than human world.
