Celebrate the start of the ESO’s 75th season with a program that shines a light on the extraordinary talent within the orchestra, led by Assistant Conductor & Community Ambassador Shah Sadikov.
Violin, French horn, oboe, and bassoon are showcased in concertos by Vivaldi and Haydn, plus a world premiere of an ESO commission by John McPherson. Beethoven’s exciting First Symphony and the overture to Verdi’s opera La forza del destino round out this powerful opening concert.
