Frédéric Chopin wrote only two piano concertos, but each reveals a world of emotional depth, elegance, and youthful brilliance. In a rare and intimate performance, both concertos will be presented in one evening, offering a fresh perspective on these Romantic masterpieces. Pianists Mikołaj Warszyński and Zuzana Šimurdová will take to the Winspear stage to perform these concertos with a string quintet comprised of members of the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. Don’t miss this special chamber interpretation of Chopin’s music, which will celebrate him as one of the most beloved Romantic composers.
