Events Description
Ever wonder how museums prep and take care of these awesome specimens?
Now’s your chance to get hands-on and learn the ropes of spreading and pinning a bird wing. Hang out behind the scenes with Royal Alberta Museum experts in their conservation labs. They’ll share why and how they get these specimens ready for display and research. You’ll also snag a high-res picture of your finished bird wing to take home and show off!
This workshop is open to anyone aged 12 and up, and you don’t need any special skills. Spots are limited, and past workshops sold out quickly so grab your ticket soon.
