Events Description
In recognition of Hangeul Day on October 9, exhibiting artist Eunju Park will host a Hanji art workshop highlighting both the beauty of the Korean alphabet (Hangeul) and the tradition of Korean paper (Hanji). Participants will be introduced to the basics of Hangeul and its cultural significance, then guided step by step in creating their own artwork with Hanji and Korean letters.
No prior experience is required — this workshop offers a unique opportunity to celebrate Korean heritage through language and art. This special workshop will be held in the main gallery space, surrounded by the current exhibit “Korean Stories: Rooted in Hanji 한국이야기, 한지” by Eunju Park and ILang Song. This workshop is sponsored by Coca-Cola.
