Edmonton
Events Description
When we think about our universe, typically, our first thought is the wide expanse of our reality, the very reaches of our knowledge, the ever-expanding expanse of stars and galaxies, supernovas and black holes. As we reflect, however, those thoughts become more conceptual, more abstract – we think of the sheer amount of possibilities that exist, the amount of places never before seen, what fills the emptiness, what lacks from the chaos of everything. The universe becomes everything we can think of, everything we can logically interpret in our mind.
Slowly, we realize the universe around us is far greater than we can ever comprehend, that our existence in this life is filled with the purely extraordinary. This show is a celebration of those things, the good, the bad, the struggles, the conquests, the challenges, and the solutions.
Into The Extraordinary, hosted by Charlemagne Champagne, brings together eight performers in the iconic Zeidler Dome at the TELUS World of Science – Edmonton, each unveiling new, never before seen live performances based around what the extraordinary in our lives means to them.
Please note, Into The Extraordinary deals with mature subject matter such as, but not limited to: Abuse, Self-Harm, Racism, Suicidal Thoughts. The performance will also feature lasers, periods of flashing lights, and theatrical haze. Viewer discretion is advised.
