Events Description
Join us at Edmonton’s Kingsway Mall for “Light The Darkness,” a compelling interactive art installation and fundraiser in support of WIN House. Launching to coincide with International Women’s Day, this event runs from March 7th to March 29th, offering a unique blend of artistic expression and social advocacy.
Crafted by the celebrated local artist, Tessa Stamp, “Light The Darkness\” is not merely an art exhibit but a powerful statement of solidarity and hope amidst the escalating issue of gender-based violence. The installation’s centerpiece, a 12’ tall model of a home façade, intricately details each room to narrate the poignant, real-life experiences of survivors.
This event transcends traditional art displays, inviting interaction from visitors through a Tip Tap station. With each donation, lights illuminate within the model home\’s rooms, serving as a beacon of hope and tangible support for those affected by gender-based violence. Experience the power of art in igniting change, shedding light on dark realities, and contributing to a vital cause. “Light The Darkness\” awaits your presence, your empathy, and your support.
