Events Description
The finale of the “O Mio Puccini Caro” tour, honouring the 100th anniversary of the death of the great composer Giacomo Puccini, and celebrating his glorious music. This full-length recital is being held at the CKUA Radio performance space. This historic building, the Alberta Hotel (originally built in 1903), was reassembled on Jasper Avenue, and holds a certain kind of magic in the room.
The concert will include the greatest arias, duets, and piano solos by Puccini, and is presented by and features Cara Lianne McLeod, soprano and Emilio De Mercato, piano. They will be joined by guest tenor Andrea Pinna.
After 7 successful performances throughout 2024 in a variety of venues, they’re excited to be presenting the final concert at CKUA Radio. Further, to acknowledge their support to the community, Emilio & Cara will be donating $7 from each ticket sold to their fundraising efforts.
