Events Description
This annual fall migration of owls occurs from September until early November, with October being the peak in their abundance. Species captured include Northern Saw-whet Owls, Long-eared Owls and Boreal Owls. Join our biologists for an evening in the woods to learn about the research being conducted on our feathery friends and hopefully see a live owl up close and personal!
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING:
• Warm clothing – dress for the outdoors!
• Headlamp/flashlight
• Face mask – mandatory
• A thermos/travel mug with your choice of warm beverage (you will want it!)
HOW MUCH
Tickets:
General Admission: $25/person
Child (16 years or younger): $10/child
Children age 5 and under are FREE

October 1, 5 to 8, 12 to 15, 19 to 22, 2023 | Various times in the evening
Nets open 30mins after sunset and run for 6-7 hours, weather permitting.
Weather that would shut down and CANCEL banding include: rain/heavy snow, wind >30km/hr, and temperatures below -15˚C.
