Polynesian Days (Poly Days) is an annual family event that, for four decades, has continually drawn over 6,000 people every August long weekend to the community of Alberta Beach.
The August long weekend each year is full of fun, family-oriented activities.
Alberta Beach’s long weekend begins Friday, July 31, with colouring, scavenger hunt and business decorating contests. Saturday features an ABADASA slo-pitch tournament, library sale, charity food stand, parade, and Kids Park activities. The tournament continues Sunday and Monday, alongside Sunday’s farmers’ market. Colouring and scavenger hunt prizes will be awarded Monday at 11 a.m. in Beachwave Park for local winners.
Poly Days is organized by the Alberta Beach and District Agricultural Society.
