Polynesian Days (Poly Days) is an annual family event that, for four decades, has continually drawn over 6,000 people every August long weekend to the community of Alberta Beach.
The August long weekend each year is full of fun, family-oriented activities.
A fun-filled weekend in Alberta Beach offers activities for all ages. Beachwave Park hosts ongoing attractions, including tie-dye shirts, lei making, chalk art, water games, and more. Food trucks and markets provide delicious treats and local goods. Contests like coloring, scavenger hunts, and business decorating run throughout the weekend. The parade, bouncy castles, bonfire, and Pacific Island dance performance bring excitement to the community. Fire services offer engaging events like spray & play and fun fire games. The slow pitch tournament, pancake breakfast, and tug-of-war add to the festive spirit. Proceeds from various activities support local causes and charities.
Poly Days is organized by the Alberta Beach and District Agricultural Society.
