Featuring Robert Uchida – Violin

The New Year for the Alberta Baroque Ensemble begins with a concert that explores Josef Haydn’s Symphony No.22, better known as The Philosopher. This composition known for its melody and counterpoint, like a question and answer, will be accompanied by works by Michael Haydn and Gluck. The featured soloist will be Robert Uchida performing Mozart’s Violin Concerto in B Flat Major.
