Follow the glow of Evergreen Bright, a walkable outdoor trail of twinkling holiday lights and storefront displays along the waterfront and throughout downtown Halifax.

Be sure to explore the displays in downtown Dartmouth, and we know there are communities across Nova Scotia shining brightly too!

Light up the Park | November 27, 2020 – January 1, 2021 @ Acadia Park, 650 Sackville Dr, Lower Sackville
The trees surrounding Acadia Park in Lower Sackville will be lit with over 4,000 shining white lights to create a winter wonderland.

Alderney Landing Holiday Lights & Decor Display | December 4 – 27
Alderney Landing will be lit up and decorated for all to see! Enjoy the beautiful display from the comfort and warmth of your own vehicle.

Evergreen Bright on the Halifax Waterfront @ Halifax Waterfront | Until December 20, 2020 | 4:30 PM – Midnight
Illuminated for Evergreen, meander the nearly 4km Halifax Waterfront after dark to enjoy thousands of thinking lights.

Downtown Dartmouth All Together Merry & Bright | Various dates
Enjoy festive collection of holiday lights and projections, support the shops and stores, while maintaining physical distancing.

TD Lights in the Park at Sullivan’s Pond | All through winter starting at dusk
A delightful canopy of twinkly spheres has been installed over the path between Hawthorne Street and the bandshell. Plus, several trees along Crichton Avenue are wrapped with festive lights. Stroll, roll or drive by any day starting at dusk.

Dartmouth Holiday Lights Show | December 5 – 25 @ Old Post Office, Dartmouth
Experience an immersive holiday projection mapping with music on the old post office at the corner of Queen and Wentworth Streets. The magical show will play on a regular rotation, with social distancing measures in place. The approximately 3-minute show is a holiday display for folks of all ages.

Come check out our 16ft Christmas tree and our fully decked out winter patio. Enjoy a beer or a soda in our family & dog-friendly Seaport Hall.

Light the Signal Mast | November 28 to December 20 (10 am to 4 pm) @ Citadel
The Halifax Citadel National Historic Site provides some of the most scenic views of Halifax, and Parks Canada is excited to join this year’s Evergreen Festival by lighting the signal mast.

Grand Parade Holiday Light Show
Halifax City Hall sparkles and adds a twinkle of light to the holiday season and Evergreen Bright. Meander by and enjoy the holiday projection dancing off City Hall and the Christmas Tree. The Holiday Projection Show will be projected on the entire surface of the south (Grand Parade side) wall of City Hall. The show contains holiday images including a toy train, presents, snowflakes, and turns City Hall into a gingerbread house! The finale has a fireworks display!

Halifax Seaport Lights @ 1215 Marginal Road
Enjoy a festive colour display of LED lights throughout the historic Halifax Seaport.
