Events Description

Shakespeare By The Sea is Atlantic Canada’s longest-running outdoor theatre festival. This summer sees the world premiere of the new family musical Beauty and the Beast: The Fairy-Tale Game Show. This musical reimagines Beauty and the Beast through the chaotic world of gameshow television, bringing a modern, comedic edge to the classic “tale as old as time.” Julius Caesar storms the Cambridge Battery with a bold, new staging bringing betrayal, ambition, and political chaos vividly to life. Our season concludes with the one-night-only, must-see event, the Unrehearsed Hamlet, where anything can (and will) happen.

Catch them all performed in beautiful Point Pleasant Park every night at 7:00 PM from July 4th-August 30th. Seats available at ShakespeareByTheSea.ca or pay-what-you-can at the door.
