Halifax
Events Description
Sobeys is once again bringing back a beloved East Coast holiday tradition – the Star of Christmas jingle – with a special community singalong at this year’s Halifax Christmas Tree Lighting tomorrow, November 22, at Grand Parade.
In partnership with local music group The Big Sing, this will be the largest Star of Christmas singalong to date, kicking off the season with music, nostalgia, and community spirit.
Rooted in community spirit and the season of giving, Sobeys will collect nonperishable food items and monetary donations from attendees for Feed Nova Scotia. For every donation made at the event, Sobeys will contribute an additional $5 to Feed Nova Scotia, helping to further support families in need this holiday season.
