Events Description
Diana Panton is one of the brightest lights on the jazz scene, celebrated for her ethereal tone, masterful song selection, and emotionally transparent performances. This Hamilton local’s latest album, soft winds and roses, highlights modern classics from the 1960s onward infused with that “je ne sais quoi\” that defines her signature sound. Critics have praised her voice as “the sweetest bird you’ll ever hear,” capturing both the delicacy and emotional power of her artistry.
Panton has earned two JUNO Awards, multiple international honours, and recognition as one of Canada’s Top 5 Jazz Vocalists by CBC’s Tim Tamashiro. Whether interpreting timeless standards or reimagining modern classics, her performances create an atmosphere of intimacy and elegance, creating a soundscape that lingers long after the last note.
