Run With Coops

The Cooper Robertson Foundation is excited to announce the 4th annual #RunWithCoops, in support of the SickKids Tuberous Sclerosis Complex Clinic!

Founded in 2019 as a fully registered Canadian charity, the Cooper Robertson Foundation (CRF) raises funds and awareness for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC).

TSC is a rare genetic disease that causes benign tumours to grow in vital organs of the body. There is no cure for TSC and while each person is affected differently, most require support from numerous health care providers and specialists.

Funds raised by CRF are donated directly to the Toronto SickKids TSC Clinic and go towards priority initiatives, making real change for the children who attend the Clinic as well as their families. Cooper Robertson, who is 5, has attended the Clinic since he was 7 months old. Since 2019, CRF has raised over $250,000 for the TSC Clinic, and this year, we have an ambitious goal of raising $1 more than last year – a whopping $55,282!

This year we will continue to offer a virtual option for runners – run/walk wherever you choose! And to celebrate, we will be inviting all of Cooper’s Crew (all runners/friends/family/kids/pets) to the Community Social event – which will be held in conjunction with the Kids 1K on Sunday October 22nd beginning at 10:30am at Southward Community Park in Grimsby.

Any type of support, big or small, is greatly appreciated.
