Childcan’s Polar Bear Dip

Take the plunge for children facing childhood cancer.

On Saturday, March 2, 2024, we’ll be welcoming you and your team of adventure-seekers back into the chilly waters at Little Beach.

All of the proceeds support Childcan and the families we serve throughout Western Ontario, providing direct financial assistance, social and emotional support, and funding paediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital in London.

There is no cost to register but we do ask that you fundraise to help families affected by childhood cancer. Pre-registration is required.

Date: Saturday March 2, 2024 to Saturday March 2, 2024

1. Check in – 10:00 am
Location: Masonic Centre of Elgin, 42703 Fruit Ridge Line, St Thomas, ON N5P 3S9

2. Head to the Beach – 10:45 am
Buses will shuttle people to and from Little Beach, Port Stanley, starting at 10:45 am.

3. Do the Dip – 11:00 am
The most important, chilliest, and most heart-warming part of the day!

4. Lunch – 12:00 pm
Buses will return to the Masonic Centre for entertainment, lunch, silent auction, and more… Lunch is provided for anyone with a wristband (ie. registered to dip). We will ask that anyone without a wristband covers the cost of providing their lunch.
