Calling all ghosts, goblins and little trick-or-treaters! Get your costumes ready for a spooktacular afternoon at LaSalle Truck or Treat on Saturday, October 24, from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Vollmer Complex, 2121 Laurier Parkway.
Families are invited to explore an exciting lineup of unique vehicles, including emergency, construction and other specialty vehicles, while collecting Halloween treats along the way. Costumes are encouraged!
Candy will be available on tables throughout the event and children can take a piece of candy from the tables. Participants are encouraged to bring their own trick-or-treat bag.
For everyone’s safety, vehicles on display are for viewing only. Participants will not be permitted to climb on, enter or touch the vehicles. We appreciate your cooperation.
The LaSalle Fire Service will be on-site accepting donations of new, unwrapped toys for all ages in support of the LaSalle Sparky’s Toy Drive. Donations are appreciated and will help bring some extra holiday cheer to local families in need.
There’s a new vehicle coming to Town and it needs a name! Stop by the Public Works display and cast your vote for your favourite name for the Town of LaSalle’s newest excavator. Grade 1 classes in LaSalle will submit their creative name suggestions, and Truck or Treat attendees will have the final say.
The winning name will be revealed on-site at 3:00 pm and will become the excavator’s official name, proudly displayed on the vehicle. Stop by and show your support!
