Events Description
Our last concert of the season offers a progression of styles within German music. You will hear the brilliance of a young Beethoven and the mature, emotionally charged world of Wagner. Beethoven’s Piano Concerto is a triumphal blend of youthful energy, classical elegance and the composer’s virtuosic command of the piano. Wagner’s Tristan and Isolde is a dramatic and expressive portrayal of a story of doomed love.
Renowned piano soloist Leslie Kinton, Professor at the Don Wright School of Music, University of Western Ontario returns to continue our Beethoven piano concerto cycle. This is the fourth time since 2018 that Dr. Kinton has joined us for a Beethoven piano concerto and we are delighted to play with him again.
